TSK OYAJI, you haven't been keeping up with my creative pursuits? DDDX

Okay so, for me and my friend's senior project we've decided to put together Orichalcum, an anthology of short comics with different stories tied together by the theme of steampunk. A few other artists on LJ participated and in all we have about 6 stories. My story's based in alter-history Qing Dynasty China 8D Sketches and stuff here! We're printing a bunch in time for Fanime con at the end of next month :DDD

I haven't, I admit it and I'm sorry about that <3. I've only recently started checking my flist again because RL was topping me hard >_>. And it still is, but... let's say I'm standing up to it, sort of. I've even gone back to posting on my LJ, did you notice? :)

BTW. YOU ARE AWESOME. And I love you and I want to read that. I'm so glad you're doing it! :DD

Yes to standing up to RL! X)d I'm battling RL hard at the moment too, and it's... looking to be a very bloody fight, if not a losing one x___X;;; ...Truthfully, ever since you deleted your old account I'd apparently never added your new one to my friends filter 8D;;;; BUT THAT'S BEEN RECTIFIED! I see your new entries WAAH YOUR NEW ENTRIES-- *READS VORACIOUSLY*

(That's because the only real WIP post to my comic is that March entry XD;; I actually didn't start really working on it till this month, and I've been so over my head with all kinds of work-- the point is, nobody gets to see ANYTHING in my comic until it's all done. Also because it isn't in any state to be shown yet 8D;;;)

PATIENCE, FATHER! You'll see it soon, I promise! In fact I'll reserve you and okaa your own exclusive copies X)

RL can be a bitch :(. Days should be 10 hours longer whenever we need them. Sometimes I feel like I need the Philosopher's Stone >_>.

...LOL i can SO relate to that. I'm doing the same. Actually I cancelled everything I had to do last week in order to work on my music because... long story made short, I'm not doing what I want to do, and I'm missing on some opportunities, so now I'll be taking MY music more seriously, and that takes... lyrics. So. I was writing lyrics for the most part of last week (that and playing PS2 because overworking myself wouldn't do either, cough) and of course NO ONE will get to read or listen to anything until I'm done polishing stuff.

However, I plan on posting demos once I have them :).

You know, IT'S SO HARD TO BE AN ARTIST. *throws an artist fit* You can't simply do your homework and finish your assignments. No your work has to be GOOD, not just by your own standards but your PEERS' too. We're expected to be CREATIVE, 24-fucking-7. OUR LIVES SUCK, AND WE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO HAVE OUR WAY, AND EVERYONE ELSE SHOULD HAVE TO INDULGE US. *WAILWAILWAIL*

Yaayy demooos!! When you do that I'll post the pages of my comic X) but only a few, so that I don't give the whole thing away to everyone for free ahaha (we're selling them for MONIES)
