Also, all this P4 that I've been obsessively playing was making me really interested in Japanese mythology, and ever since reading Sea of the Unconscious I got the super ambitious idea to draw the P4 kids as their respective Ultimate Persona/Japanese god/historical figures a la the Ancient Greek/Western P3 sketches I posted last time. The ambitious part is to actually complete the set of all 8 (maybe even 9, or 10?? if I decide to stick in Adachi and Izanami too), vignette style each with its own bg, to come together in either a huge banner or be individually separate or in sets of 3. THIS ARTIST ALLEY THING, I MIGHT BE STARTING TO TAKE IT MORE SERIOUSLY MAYBE o__o

Now if any of you guys have any descriptive info on Suzuka Gozen (or Suzuka Gongen) or Dairokuten Maou it would be super helpful cuz these guys are OBSCURE. Sources say Rokuten Maou in P4 references to Oda Nobunaga as he's purportedly dubbed himself "demon king" or somesuch?? Buddhist stuff is so complicated cuz it mingles historical roots in India, China, AND Japan x__X;

WOW it's been like relatively forever since the last time I posted art. I have a couple of fanarts lying about that I've done recently but they remain halfassed/unfinished and aren't in any state to be shown :C

HOWEVER thankfully cursedinanime got my creative juices flowing! By lending me 2 seasons of Runaways, and treating me to lunch XDD I've finished the 1st volume of Runaways and I'm TRYING to slow down reading the 2nd volume (I'm just short of halfway) cuz dammit it's been so good and of course you start worrying when something gets too good (i.e. Heroes), especially when it's Marvel/DC since they swap writers and swapping writers is like the scariest thing you could do to the fans. Anyway, I know that shit happens, though I don't know for certain what kind, so I'll just wait for it. I'm sure I will be not at all good at dealing with it. I'm still reeling from Season 1 .__.

I've been watching Soul Eater again! And suddenly want to draw for it! But of course the moment I'm ready to sit down to do it my eyes get tired and it's too late for it to be done by tonight. So instead I'll put up some placeholder art. I haven't posted any art for... holy shit more than a month already? Didn't even have time to do Christmas art this year T__T

I was thankfully able to scrounge out some time to draw for the willow_lotus exchange though.

I finally finished and turned in the first draft of my senior project paper this morning. I did absolutely nothing of use at school, and came home to do absolutely nothing of use for the rest of the night. Senioritis hit me hard. I think mostly it was the fact that I'd been constantly doing academic writing for the past 2 weeks and now that I'm relieved of it (for a very short time) I don't wanna do any more of it (i.e. start my witch hunt history paper). Which left nothing else to do (that urgently needed doing) so I decided it was some JABUN TIEM.

A product commercial video project my friend and I did for class. It was her idea to make an ad of my hypothetical energy drink Blitzkrieg (which I designed for a package design class) with a caffeinated berserker ninja (more like samurai really but wtv). It was a lot of fun XDDDD

I directed an ad about facial wash starring my friend but it isn't as hysterical so I won't embed it, but it's here if anyone wants to see 8)

Soooo after that last post about Onmyoji I went and joined onmyoujium where I found this amazing fic which spurred me to watch the movie 2 more times while I wait for Onmyoji 2 to arrive sobbb. Naturally that means-- crappy classroom sketches! 8D
