It's been a long time since I last sat down properly and took time to draw something decent, instead of rushing an idea out within a confined time bracket i.e. between classes or late at night. I actually spent 4 hours on the lineart, between Professional Practices and Typography yesterday. It feels good to draw at a leisurely pace and not work at full capacity all the time 8D;

Anyway, it's time for lame, useless gijinkabots again.

It's been ages since I last drew or scanned anything in pencil and paper. I deemed that good enough reason to waste the whole damn night drawing 8D

1st day of the new quarter isn't worth talking about cuz I was completely off my game and woke up late TWICE (and even had to drive poor Leo to school). So I'll talk about gaybots.

In the episode of "Enter the Nightbird":

Nightbird (sexy ninja femmebot, stolen and brainwashed): *kicking some Autobot ass*
Megs: Terrific! *CACKLE* Yees, you're definitely on my replacement list, Starscream. She's everything I've always wanted!
Scream: Replace me?? I'M THE BEST LAY YOU'LL EVER HAVE, BITCH NEVER!! *decks Megs*

So much LOL and gay in this episode I want to cry.

Also, after the ep "Traitor" Cliffjumper and Mirage are totally my robot OTP. I'm thinking there's gotta be some personal history for Cliffy to be so ready to accuse Mirage of treachery. HMMM. >3

I just spent about 2 weeks of my life eating, sleeping, breathing this FST. And even after so long it's still ridiculous.

This also features my first real piece of work done in Photoshop. Sad, innit? For 3 years of my life as a graphic design student I've been able to fulfill project objectives without ever having to use the program. Screw Photoshop, thought I, it's all about Illustrator! Anyway, obviously I went and threw a bajillion masks and adjustment layers over the graphics like a kid with a shiny new toy (one which she knows how to use now). Good thing I haven't downloaded any brushes or all hell would break loose.

I've wanted to keep this top secret debut FST project under wraps, but now that September's edging dangerously close it's become clear that I'm going to need some help on it. XD;;

What's eluding me like a very nimble ninja right now is a song for Bumblebee. Yes this FST is Transformers related. Is anyone surprised? It's pretty shocking, you'd think a character like 'Bee would be easy to find music for. But of all the ideas I've had so far none of them quite hits the spot.

And honestly, it's going to be very hard to find something that beats his unofficial theme song from the '07 movie soundtrack. I'm going specifically for something similar to Second To None by Styles of Beyond & Mike Shinoda; kinda cool, kinda badass, fun, HipHop-powered uptempo rock that's kind of dance-y. Right now it's looking a bit impossible. ~__~ The only thing close to it I could think of is Get9 from the 2nd Ghost In The Shell OST.

Going for happy/sunny/fun/optimistic too. So happy highschool!alternative rock like Cartel's good, as is good ol' classic rock & roll, or lighthearted synth-based rock that's like Oakenfold's Starry Eyed Surprise. Co-worker Mark suggested Polyphonic Spree's Lights And Days, which I'm liking. Just looking for something better, if possible.

So if any of you guys could help me find a song that you feel is fitting for Bumblebee, either G1 VW bug or movie Chevy Camaro form, it'll be very very appreciated. :D

You know what this means? It means I have no happy music. Man.
